Uniti Group Subsidiary Launches $900 Million Senior Secured Notes Private Offering, Term Loan Refinancing

08:44 AM EDT, 09/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Uniti Group Inc. ( UNIT ) said Wednesday its Windstream Services unit has launched a $900 million aggregate principal amount private offering of senior secured notes due 2033 to qualified institutional buyers.

The offering is guaranteed by Uniti and certain units of Windstream, subject to regulatory approval for some entities, the company said.

Windstream is also pursuing a $1.5 billion incremental term loan under the legacy Windstream credit agreement, it said.

The proceeds will be used to redeem Windstream's 10.50% senior secured notes due 2028, its related premiums and expenses, and general corporate purposes, the company added.

Shares of Uniti were up over 4% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
