05:42 PM EDT, 05/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Unity Software ( U ) late Thursday late said it has hired Matthew Bromberg to be its new chief executive officer, starting May 15.

Bromberg will also become the company's president and member of its board.

Bromberg succeeds James Whitehurst, who has been interim CEO of the company. Whitehurst will become board chairman.

Bromberg was previously chief operating officer of Zynga (ZNGA) and held leadership roles at Electronic Arts (EA).
