11:35 AM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Unity Software ( U ) Wednesday said it would provide official support to video game developers for Nintendo's Switch 2 console through its Unity 6 platform.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The companies have partnered since at least 2017 when Unity developer tools debuted for the original Nintendo Switch platforms, according to the Unity blog.
