Universal Health Services Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Shares Fall After Hours

05:01 PM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Universal Health Services ( UHS ) reported Q3 adjusted net income late Thursday of $3.71 per diluted share, up from $2.55 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $3.70.

Net revenue in the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to $3.96 billion from $3.56 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.9 billion.

The company's shares slumped 8.7% in after-hours activity.
