One analyst polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.05.

Revenue in the 13 weeks ended Dec. 31 fell to $385.4 million from $465.1 million a year earlier.

One analyst expected $376.1 million.

Universal Logistics ( ULH ) maintained its quarterly dividend of $0.105 a share, payable April 3 to shareholders of record March 23.

The company's shares rose 3.3% in after-hours trading.
