04:29 PM EDT, 07/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Universal Corp ( UVV ) said Friday that Johan Kroner will retire from his position as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Kroner will stay with Universal until July 1, 2026, to ensure a smooth transition, the company said, adding Kroner will continue as CFO until a successor is named, at which point he will stay as senior vice president for the duration of his tenure.

Universal said it has launched a search process to identify Kroner's successor.
