Unum Group Board Authorizes Dividend Increase

02:32 PM EDT, 05/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Unum Group ( UNM ) said Thursday its board authorized a 10% increase to its quarterly dividend to $0.46 per share.

The higher dividend will be payable in Q3, the company said.

Price: 80.02, Change: -0.28, Percent Change: -0.35

"At present, there is no proposal to transfer ONGC's assets to Oil India," Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameswar Teli said in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had earlier this year written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting him to consider transferring all assets of ONGC in the northeastern region to Oil India Ltd.

A Google spokesperson on Friday said the extension has been done in view of the changes to India's recurring digital payments guidelines. "We are extending this to 31st October 2022 to provide developers in India the required product support for recurring payments through convenient user payment systems, including UPI and wallets, and also provide them more time in light of the changes to India's recurring digital payments guidelines," the spokesperson said.
