Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.14.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $3.24 billion, up from $3.15 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $3.29 billion.

The company said it expects an increase in after-tax adjusted operating income per share of 8% to 12% for the full year 2025. Analysts expect $9.09.

Shares of the Unum ( UNM ) were down 5.2% in after-hours activity.
