Update: Aehr Test Systems Shares Surge After Order Won From Data Center Optics Customer

Aehr Test Systems ( AEHR ) shares were up 21% in afternoon trading on Tuesday after the company said it received an initial order from a major networking and data center optics customer developing silicon photonics transceivers.

The company said the order includes multiple wafer-level burn-in systems and related equipment for both testing and high-volume production, with shipments expected by May 2026.

Additional follow-on orders could come later this year as the customer scales capacity, it added.
