Update: Amazon Web Services, Workday Expand Partnership

Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Web Services and Workday (WDAY) are expanding their partnership to build generative artificial intelligence capabilities and invest in go-to-market initiatives to accelerate customer cloud transformation, the companies said Thursday.

Workday is collaborating with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center to experiment with new generative AI applications and to look for new use cases, the statement read.

Workday will also enable its developers and customers to apply AWS technologies to build custom applications by expanding its native integrations with AWS, according to the statement.

The companies added that as part of the expanded partnership, they will invest in joint sales and go-to-market initiatives that will support new Workday customer acquisition and increase awareness of the availability of Workday on the AWS Marketplace.
