Anheuser-Busch InBev's ( BUD ) Asia-Pacific unit Budweiser Brewing APAC denied a recent report of planned job reductions on Thursday.

"The news report in Asia about thousands of job cuts planned for 2025 is not true. We will continue our long-term investment in China," a Budweiser Brewing APAC representative told MT Newswires in an emailed statement.

Bloomberg News earlier reported that the brewing company was eyeing slashing operational costs by roughly 15% in 2025, including through thousands of job cuts.
