Autodesk ( ADSK ) shares fell 8.7% in recent Wednesday trading, a day after a new chief financial officer was appointed, while the company recorded higher fiscal Q3 earnings and revenue.
Janesh Moorjani was named CFO, effective Dec. 16. replacing interim CFO Elizabeth Rafael, who will remain as an adviser through the end of fiscal 2025.
Moorjani most recently was CFO of Elastic (ESTC).
The company reported Q3 non-GAAP earnings of $2.17 per diluted share, up from $2.07 a year earlier.
