B. Riley Financial ( RILY ) shares were up 17% in recent trading on Tuesday after it filed the quarterly report on form 10-Q for the three months ended June 30, 2024.

The company said the financial results align with the preliminary figures released on Aug. 12, 2024.

B. Riley said it plans to file its Q3 2024 report in the near future, at which point it expects to regain compliance with Nasdaq listing rules.

The company also said that as of Dec. 31, 2024, it had a preliminary cash balance of $257 million, which included funds set aside to pay the company's February 2025 senior notes.

Shares of the company were up 11% in recent premarket activity.
