11:52 AM EDT, 05/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Barranco Gold Mining (BAR.CN) said overnight Tuesday that it completed its initial exploration program on the King property in British Columbia. The shares at last look traded 19% higher at $1.55 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
The program focused on systematic geochemical sampling of soils and rocks, as well as geological mapping across three defined grid areas.
Barranco said rock analyses confirmed significant gold and pathfinder element concentrations, including 1.83 grams per tonne gold, 97 parts per million (ppm) copper, and 131 ppm zinc.
The company is reviewing the results to define further exploration targets.
