Update: Bio-Techne Shares Jump After Fiscal Q3 Beat

Bio-Techne ( TECH ) shares were up more than 17% in recent Wednesday trading after the company reported better-than-expected fiscal Q3 performance.

Earlier, the company posted adjusted earnings of $0.48 per diluted share, down from $0.53 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.46.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 31 was $303.43 million, up from $294.15 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $292.8 million.
