BlackBerry (BB.TO) shares were last seen down 3.1% after the company on Tuesday said its QNX OS for Safety has been deployed by FERNRIDE, which provides scalable automation solutions for port and yard logistics.

Tuesday's statement from Blackberry noted FERNRIDE has developed an autonomous terminal tractor solution to help address challenges such as labor shortages, tight delivery schedules and the need for 24/7 operations.

QNX said its software is also used by leading original equipment manufacturers including BMW, Bosch, Geely, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Volkswagen.
