Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket exploded on Thursday night during a hot-fire test at a Space Force facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida, multiple media outlets reported late Thursday.

The test was conducted on the ground with engines firing while the rocket remained secured to the launch pad.

Amazon's ( AMZN ) founder Jeff Bezos, who leads Blue Origin, said on X that all personnel were safe and accounted for. He added that the company is still determining the cause and will rebuild what is needed.

Blue Origin said it experienced an 'anomaly' during a hot-fire test and will share more updates as it gathers information.
