12:25 PM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates throughout with statement from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 837.)
A Boeing ( BA ) union representing striking workers will vote on Sunday on an existing company contract offer with minor modifications, according to a union memo seen by MT Newswires.
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 837 said in the memo that the offer came without a recommendation from the union's bargaining committee.
Modifications to the contract offer include giving strikers more time before returning to work and removing a provision allowing non-union workers and managers to perform union tasks, according to the memo.
Boeing ( BA ) defense workers at plants in the St. Louis area have been on strike for about 80 days, Reuters reported Friday, adding that the union represents more than 3,200 company workers.
Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
