BP (BP) continued to search for the source of a leak on its Olympic Pipeline near Everett, Washington, on Sunday, nearly two weeks after the breach was detected, news outlets reported.
The leak has disrupted fuel supplies to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday travel period, news outlets reported.
BP said in a statement emailed to MT Newswires that an investigation of the pipeline leak in coordination with federal, state, tribal and local authorities continues and that over 200 feet of pipeline have been excavated as of late Monday, with crews "operating around the clock."
The pipeline, shut down for nearly a week, moves fuel from northern Washington to Oregon, news outlets reported.
BP said a "timeline for restarting the pipeline is not currently available."
