Brookfield (BN) has signed a share purchase agreement with Impala and other shareholders to acquire roughly 53% of the outstanding shares a French renewable energy producer Neoen for 39.90 euros ($42.80) per share, the companies said Tuesday.

Additionally, Bpifrance has agreed to tender all of its shares in Neoen under a tender agreement signed with Brookfield, the companies added.

Brookfield and Neoen said they expect to receive all regulatory approvals by Q4 and a tender offer is expected to be launched in Q1 next year.
