Conmed ( CNMD ) said Monday Hurricane Helene affected its manufacturing facility in Largo, Florida, and its distribution center in Lithia Springs, Georgia, but the operations are now back to normal.
The company said it halted its operations at the Largo facility for 24 hours due to safety concerns. There was a significant employee absence after the storm, but all employees are safe, Conmed ( CNMD ) confirmed. There was no significant damage reported at both locations, the company added.
Customers in the southeast delayed surgeries and other activities due to the storm, and the financial impact of the hurricane remains uncertain at this time, it added.
