Copart ( CPRT ) jumped 10% in recent trading Friday, a day after the company reported higher earnings and revenue for fiscal Q1.

The company reported fiscal Q1 earnings late Thursday of $0.37 per diluted share, up from $0.34 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.37.

Revenue for the three months ended Oct. 31 was $1.15 billion, up from $1.02 billion a year earlier.
