Update: Corus Up 3.2% as it Continues to Negotiate With Banks to Update Credit Facility Amendment

11:31 AM EDT, 10/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Corus Entertainment (CJR-B.TO) late on Tuesday said it is continuing to negotiate with RBC Capital Markets, TD Securities and other members of its banking group as it seeks an amendment to its credit agreement to strengthen its balance sheet and manage liabilities.

The media company expects to provide further updates regarding any changes to the terms of the credit facility when it reports fourth-quarter and year-end financial results on Oct. 25.

Corus continues to have access to the credit facility.

The company's Class B shares were last seen trading up $0.005 to $0.16 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
