D-BOX Technologies ( DBOXF ) said on Tuesday that its motion technology is now featured in over 1,000 cinema screens worldwide.

The company, a provider of haptic and immersive entertainment, said its global footprint now spans North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.

Over 23,000 seats are delivering D-BOX's ( DBOXF ) haptic technology to moviegoers around the world, the company said. "Reaching the 1,000-screen milestone is a testament to the power of D-BOX's ( DBOXF ) innovative technology and the enduring appeal of immersive entertainment experiences," said chief executive Sebastien Mailhot.

D-BOX ( DBOXF ) shares were last seen up $0.02 to $0.17 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
