Update: Dell Technologies Orders Sales Employees to Work at Office Five Days a Week
Oct 2, 2024 11:54 PM

06:31 AM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- (Adds company comment in fifth paragraph)

Dell Technologies ( DELL ) has ordered its sales employees to work at the company offices five days a week beginning Sept. 30, multiple news outlets reported Thursday, citing a memo.

"Working remotely should be the exception rather than the routine," the company said in the memo, adding that the change will help "grow skills," Reuters reported.

The sales team previously had to work from the office for three days per week.

"Remote sales team members who can't go into a Dell office should continue to work remotely," Reuters quoted the memo as saying.

Dell told MT Newswires that they expect their sales team to be in the office or with customers and partners five days a week as part of its efforts to foster more in-person connection to drive market leadership.
