12:14 PM EDT, 06/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Dominion Lending Centres ( BRLGF ) on Thursday said the Competition Bureau shelved an inquiry into allegations of anti-competitive conduct by the company.

In May 2023, a court order forced Dominion to turn over documents, records and data in connection with the inquiry. On Thursday the competition regulator issued a Notice of Inquiry Discontinuance to Dominion.

"We are dedicated to regulatory compliance in all aspects of our business and are pleased the inquiry has been discontinued," said Gary Maris, chairman and CEO of Dominion.

Dominion were last seen down $0.08 to $3.52 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
