Update: Dynacor Up 2% as Achieves Second-Highest Monthly Gold Sales in January

12:10 PM EST, 02/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Dynacor Group ( DNGDF ) said Thursday it achieved its second-highest monthly gold sales in January.

The company, which operates a merchant gold mill in Peru, posted gold sales of US$28.7 million in January, rising from US$26.9 million in January, 2024.

Dynacor ( DNGDF ) attributed the increase to a 28% jump in sales prices, offset by a 21% decline in volume.

The company said the selling price of gold averaged US$2,737 per ounce in January, a 34.8% increase from US$2,030 per ounce in January, 2024.

Dynacor ( DNGDF ) will release its 2025 financial guidance at the end of February and its 2024 annual financial results at the end of March.

The company's shares were last seen up $0.115 to $5.525 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
