Update: Endeavour Silver Falls 8% as Q2 Silver Equivalent Production Climbs 17%

Endeavour Silver ( EXK ) on Tuesday reported a 17% increase in silver equivalent production for the second quarter.

The company produced 2.5-million ounces of silver equivalent in the three months ended June 30, rising from 2.2-million ounces.

Endeavour's silver equivalent production includes silver output of 1.5-million ounces, up 13%, and gold output of 7,755 ounces, down 26%.

The company also produced 3,503 tonnes of lead, 2,316 tonnes of zinc and 58 tonnes of copper.

National Bank of Canada which had maintained its outperform rating and $9 target price on Endeavour, said despite the slightly weaker than expected operating results, the company remains on track to achieve its FY25 production guidance, with first half of 2025 production representing 48% and 50% of the FY silver and gold production guidance, respectively.

"We are also encouraged by the strong results at Kolpa and ramp-up of commissioning activities at Terronera," said analyst Alex Terentiew. "We will be attending a site tour on October 28."

Shares of the company were last seen down $0.535 to $6.625 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
