Update: Establishment Labs Gets FDA Approval for Motiva Implants; Shares Soar Premarket

Establishment Labs Holdings ( ESTA ) said Thursday that the US Food and Drug Administration approved Motiva, SmoothSilk, Ergonomix, and Motiva SmoothSilk round breast implants in primary and revision breast augmentation.

Shares of Establishment Labs ( ESTA ) were up more than 29% in premarket activity Friday.

Motiva is the first new breast implant pre-market approval granted by the US FDA since 2013, according to the company.
