Ford Motor ( F ) shares were up 2% in recent trading Thursday after the company said it plans to expand production of F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks with a roughly $3 billion investment at a Canadian facility.
The company said Thursday that starting in 2026 it plans to assemble its F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks at its Oakville Assembly Complex in Ontario, Canada.
The automaker said it will add production of up to 100,000 units of Super Duty trucks at the Oakville facility, with a $3 billion investment, including $2.3 billion to install assembly and integrated stamping operations.
