Update: Fortune Minerals' Option to Acquire Alberta Industrial Site for NICO Project Expires

11:59 AM EDT, 07/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Fortune Minerals ( FTMDF ) over the holiday weekend said an option to purchase the JFSL Field Services ULC brownfield industrial site in Alberta for the NICO cobalt-gold-bismuth-copper project expired.

The company could not complete the acquisition of the site in Lamont County before the June 30 expiry date.

However, Fortune and JFSL are continuing discussions and looking to complete the deal under a new arrangement as soon as possible.

Fortune shares were last seen down $0.005 to $0.08 on the Toronto Stock Exchange
