Update: Freshpet Shares Fall After Q4 Net Sales Miss Consensus

Freshpet ( FRPT ) shares were down more than 17% in recent trading on Thursday after its Q4 net sales fell short of analysts' consensus.

The company reported Q4 earnings of $0.36 per diluted share, up from $0.31 per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.36 per share.

Net sales for the quarter ended Dec. 31 were $262.7 million, compared with $215.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $264.1 million.

The company said it expects 2025 net sales between $1.18 billion and $1.21 billion.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect $1.22 billion.
