GE Aerospace (GE) said Friday it is ready to support a probe into the crash of an Indian Tejas fighter jet at the Dubai Airshow on the same day.
The incident is the second known crash of the fighter jet, which is built by state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics and powered by GE engines, according to a Reuters report.
Rollout of Indian Air Force orders for the aircraft has been delayed due to slow deliveries of engines from GE, which has blamed post-COVID supply chain issues, the report said.
"We are prepared to support our customer and the investigation," a GE spokesperson said in an email to MT Newswires.
