05:59 PM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Genco Shipping & Trading ( GNK ) said late Wednesday it has taken delivery of the Genco Volunteer, a 2019 Imabari-built 182,000-deadweight-ton scrubber-fitted Capesize vessel.

The vessel will be immediately deployed in the spot market.

The company said its investments since Q4 2023 in seven modern Capesize and Newcastlemax vessels have totaled more than $400 million and generated an internal rate of return of about 30% to date.
