Update: Generac Shares Rise After Q2 Results Exceed Analysts' Estimates

Generac ( GNRC ) shares were up more than 14% in recent Wednesday trading after the company posted better-than-expected Q2 financial results.

The company reported Q2 adjusted net income Wednesday of $1.65 per diluted share, up from $1.35 a year earlier and above the $1.32 estimate of analysts polled by FactSet.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $1.06 billion, up from $998.2 million a year earlier and above FactSet expectation of $1.03 billion.

For fiscal 2025, the company now expects net sales growth of 2% to 5%, compared with prior guidance of 0% to 7% growth.
