Update: General Motors Shares Rise After Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Beat Consensus

General Motors ( GM ) shares were up more than 11% in recent trading Tuesday after the company posted Q3 adjusted earnings and revenue that surpassed consensus estimates.

The company reported Q3 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $2.80 per diluted share, down from $2.96 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.29.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $48.59 billion, down from $48.76 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $45.04 billion.

For 2025, the automaker raised its adjusted EPS guidance to between $9.75 and $10.50 from its previous outlook range of $8.25 to $10.

Analysts polled by FactSet expect $9.46.
