Update: GoGold Rises 4.2% as It Books Higher Q2 Silver Equivalent Production at the Parral Mine in Mexico

12:19 PM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- GoGold Resources ( GLGDF ) reported on Thursday a 6.7% second quarter year-on-year increase in silver equivalent production from the Parral tailings mine in Mexico.

The company produced 400,236 ounces of silver equivalent in the period, rising from 375,112 ounces in the year-prior quarter.

Gold production climbed 61% to 2,436 ounces from 1,512 ounces and copper production rose to 148 tonnes from 135 tonnes.

Zinc production totaled 125 tonnes.

"Parral's production is climbing with the addition of the zinc circuit, this should continue over the next several quarters," chief executive Brad Langille said in a release.

GoGold is advancing a definitive feasibility study on the Los Ricos South project in Mexico, with results expected to be released in September.

GoGold shares were last seen up $0.06 to $1.48 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
