Update: Golden Shield Drops 46% as It Terminates Talks to Acquire Tucano Gold

11:46 AM EDT, 10/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Golden Shield Resources ( GSRFF ) said Friday that it terminated negotiations over the potential acquisition of Tucano Gold.

Golden Shield said it will instead focus on advancing its flagship Marudi Mountain gold project in Guyana, where 50,350 meters of diamond drilling has been carried out.

Golden Shield's shares were last seen down $0.03 to $0.035 on the Canadian Securities Exchange
