Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) has appointed Koray Kavukcuoglu as chief artificial intelligence architect, a company spokesperson confirmed to MT Newswires on Thursday.

Kavukcuoglu is currently the chief technology officer at Google DeepMind.
