12:20 PM EDT, 06/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Great Pacific Gold ( FSXLF ) reported Friday high-grade gold assays from a follow-up diamond drill hole of the Comet gold discovery at the Lauriston gold project in Victoria, Australia.
Highlights include 4.0 meters at 22.3 g/t gold, 0.35 meters at 55.6 g/t gold and 0.2 meters at 22.23 g/t gold.
"Our latest gold assays intersected stacked zones of mineralization providing us with important geological information on the potential scope of the system," chief operating officer Rex Motton said. "Importantly, high-grade gold at depth was associated with widespread quartz veining."
The company said it will continue drilling to better understand the gold mineralized structures and to discover more high-grade gold mineralization.
Great Pacific shares were last seen down $0.05 to $0.74 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
