Intel ( INTC ) on Tuesday introduced the Intel Gaudi 3 accelerator at a company event.

The Gaudi 3 AI accelerator will power AI systems with up to tens of thousands of accelerators connected through ethernet, Intel ( INTC ) said in a statement.

The company said that on average, Gaudi 3 provides 50% better inference and 40% better power efficiency compared with Nvidia's ( NVDA ) H100 chip "at a fraction of the cost."

Gaudi 3 will be available to original equipment manufacturers such as Dell Technologies ( DELL ) in Q2, Intel ( INTC ) said.
