Update: Juniper Networks Preliminary Q4 Non-GAAP Earnings, Revenue Increase

Juniper Networks ( JNPR ) reported preliminary Q4 non-GAAP earnings late Tuesday of $0.64 per diluted share, up from $0.61 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.57.

Preliminary revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $1.40 billion, up from $1.36 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.39 billion.

The company said it has agreed to suspend repurchases of its shares due to the terms of the merger agreement with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).

Juniper also said that due to the planned deal with Hewlett Packard Enterprise it won't provide financial guidance.

The company also declared a cash dividend of $0.22 per share, payable March 24 to shareholders of record on March 3.
