Update: Kane Biotech Up 4% as It Donates Antimicrobial Wound Gel to Ukraine

12:05 PM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Kane Biotech ( KNBIF ) said Wednesday it is donating 2,000 ounces of revyve Antimicrobial Wound Gel to medical relief efforts in Ukraine.

Kane said the product will be used to help heal severe and chronic wounds sustained by people during the war.

"We have an opportunity to make a difference in the treatment of wounds suffered in this theater of operations," said Marc Edwards, Kane's chief executive.

The company added that it is working with the Ukrainian government to formally request that its revyve product be included in both the Canadian and US relief programs.

Kane's shares were last seen up $0.005 to $0.13 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
