KKR & Co ( KKR ) unit Logisteed announced a tender offer for Alps Logistics at 5,774 Japanese yen ($37.05) per share.

The number of shares planned for purchase is 18.2 million shares valued at nearly 105.2 billion yen, the company's unit said.

The minimum number of shares planned for purchase at the tender offer was set at 6.4 million shares, but no maximum number of shares will be set, the unit said.

The tender offer is expected to begin around mid-August, subject to procedures and requirements under both domestic and

foreign authorities, Logisteed said.
