Update: Labrador Iron Ore Royalty's Q4 Profit, Revenue Grows; Down Over 2%

01:51 PM EDT, 03/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Labrador Iron Ore Royalty Corp. ( LIFZF ) overnight Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $51.4 million, or $0.80 per share, up from $44.6 million, or $0.70 per share, a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.88 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2023, was $54.9 million, up from $48.3 million a year earlier.

Analysts estimates were not available.

The company reported Q4 adjusted cash flow of $30.2 million, down from $41.9 million a year earlier. The company had $13.2 million in cash as at Dec. 31, 2023, with total current assets of $67.5 million.

The company reported a dividend of $0.45 per share for the period ended Dec. 31, 2023. The record date is Dec. 29, 2023, and the payment date is Jan. 26, 2024.

Further, Rio Tinto's 2024 guidance for IOC's saleable production tonnage is 16.7 million to 19.6 million tons. The capital expenditures for 2024 at IOC are forecasted by IOC to be about US$431 million, the company said.

The company's shares fell 2.1% on last look on Wednesday.
