Update: Littelfuse Shares Jump After Higher Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue

Littelfuse ( LFUS ) shares were up over 14% in recent Wednesday trading after the company reported stronger-than-expected Q2 financial results.

The company reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $2.85 per diluted share, up from $1.97 a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.33 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $613.4 million, compared with $558.5 million a year earlier.

Four analysts polled by FactSet expected $576.7 million.

For Q3, the company expects adjusted EPS of $2.65 to $2.85 on revenue of $610 million to $630 million. Four analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $2.51 and revenue of $584.3 million.
