The company said all personnel are safe and the Deer Trail site is secure.

MAG said it does not expect this temporary pause in operations to have a material impact on the business.

The company added that will continue to carefully monitor the situation and comply with all local directives.

MAG's shares were last seen up $0.18 to $18.25 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
