04:00 AM EDT, 10/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- (Updates with Google's ( GOOG ) response in the fourth paragraph.)

Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) and Anthropic PBC are discussing a deal that would provide the Amazon ( AMZN )-backed (AMZN) artificial intelligence firm with more computing power valued in the "high tens of billions of dollars," Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Under the discussed plan, Google ( GOOG ) would provide Anthropic with cloud services, the unnamed sources told the news outlet.

Google ( GOOG ) is a previous investor in Anthropic and already provides it with cloud services, according to the report.

Google ( GOOG ) declined to comment on what the company described as "the rumors in this story." Anthropic didn't respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
