Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) has agreed to pay $5 million to $6 million annually to News Corp. ( NWSA ) , owner of the Wall Street Journal, for the development of new artificial intelligence-related content and products, the Information reported Tuesday, citing a News Corp ( NWSA ) employee and another person close to the deal.

A News Corp. ( NWSA ) spokesperson told MT Newswires that the company does not have an AI content licensing deal with Google ( GOOG ).

"We absolutely do not have an AI content licensing deal with Google ( GOOG ), though we do have a number of partnerships with Google ( GOOG ) across our businesses," the spokesperson said.

Google ( GOOG ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
