APA (APA) is looking into the sale of oil and gas drilling properties across the Permian basin in Texas and New Mexico for about $1 billion, Reuters reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

An APA spokesperson told MT Newswires that the company actively manages its portfolio and remains committed to oil & gas sector, but refrained from commenting on the deal.
